Mary Siah Recreation Center is located behind Lathrop High School and is operated by the Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation Department. Our facility hours are currently limited due to a shortage of lifeguards. If you are looking for a job and are interested in being a lifeguard, we offer classes to get you certified! Locker rooms are available for changing before and after swimming and pool-owned equipment and toys are available for use. One Adult (16+) must be in the water with all family members 6 and under while swimming. One Adult (16+) must be in the building with all swimmers ages 7-8. Swimmer 9 years old and older may attend without an adult. Everyone must clear the pool, hot tub, and sauna area between each program.
Group swim is available for rent. Book your group swim by calling 907-459-1082.
Drop-in Activities
Drop-in activities cost $4 per Youth/Senior and $6 per Adult. You can pay when you arrive at the pool. View Mary Siah's drop-in activity schedules here.

- Adult Swim (18+) is set up for 2 lanes of lap swimming. The other area of the pool is for water walking and standing exercise.
