January 5, 2021
FNSB Transfer Stations will be closed intermittently through the mid-week (next week!) for hardpack snow removal.

Ester – *January 8th
Fox – *January 11th

- The borough contractor will temporarily close a site completely *OR* there will be very limited public access. There will be signs at each location.
- Moose Creek and Salcha Transfer Sites are expected to be completed by tomorrow, Wednesday, January 6th.
- **This hardpack removal schedule may change based upon cold weather, site conditions or other factors. Your patience is much appreciated during this time!*
- Finally, as Alaskans, we know that hardpack snow removal is something that must be done. There will be times when an entire site is closed or the entrance or exit roads are closed. It is an inconvenience, especially when you are planning to make a stop at the Transfer Site only to find out that it is closed. We appreciate everyone’s patience as SAFETY is the number one priority.
Comments/Questions/Concerns are always welcome.
