[ARCHIVED] Springtime is near! Time to Recycle!

CRF Sign

April 6, 2021

FNSB's Central Recycling Facility is gearing up for the melting snow and for borough residents to bring in their PPACE items!

PPACE is the acronym for the types of materials that the CRF accepts: Paper, Plastics (# 1 & 2), Aluminum, Corrugated Cardboard, and Electronics.

All of these items are accepted at the CRF during regular business hours. PLEASE do not drop off items when the CRF is closed.

Why? Because the wind can spread many of these lightweight items around and create more clean-up work!

The Borough's CRF is located at 1855 Marika Road, Fairbanks and the business hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.

CRF is closed Sunday and Monday.

For more information including COVID-19 Mitigation Plans, FAQ's and CRF's Annual Statistics, visit FNSB.GOV/RECYCLE.
