Dear Hunter Families:

Due to structural concerns regarding the Hunter Elementary roof that were reported this morning,

Hunter Elementary students have been safely evacuated to Lathrop High School.

If you are able to pick your students up from Lathrop, you can do so at any time during the school day.

Pickup will be at the Fish Bowl entrance, which is at the front of the building to the far left.

This exit is on the Mary Siah side closest to Hunter with all of the windows.

Hunter staff will be at the doors to check out students to their parents and guardians.

If you are unable to pick up your students at Lathrop during the school day,

buses will operate at the normal times this afternoon.

If you would like to have somebody else pick up your students,

call Lathrop High School at 456-7794 ext. 17506 to confirm with school staff who you authorize to check out your students.

The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.

We will contact families later today to provide an update regarding the status of school on Friday.

Sincerely,

Superintendent Office
